Overview

DrayTek VigorSwitch P2280x is a Layer 2+ Managed Gigabit PoE switch ideal for a network with growing network traffic. The switch has 24x Gigabit Ethernet PoE/PoE+ ports with a power budget of 400 watts and 4 additional dedicated SFP+ for 10G Fiber link.

Technical Features

  • Ping Device Check: Enables ping check to selected devices to monitor their status. If ping timeout occurs, the port can power cycle (if PoE enabled) and/or send a mail alert.
  • ONVIF CCTV: ONVIF-Friendly feature recognizes ONVIF devices, displays surveillance topology, and provides a UI for video streaming and device maintenance.
  • Routing: Wire-Speed VLAN Routing improves overall network performance by routing inter-VLAN traffic directly through the VigorSwitch P2280x, reducing router load.
  • IPv6: IPv6 Ready with support for MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, and IPv6 DNS Resolver.
  • Surveillance: Auto Surveillance & Voice VLAN automatically recognizes IP camera and IP phone traffic, adding CoS tags for QoS prioritization.
  • Graphic User Interface: Web-Based GUI allows easy management and monitoring through a graphical console showing port and hardware status.
  • IP Conflict Prevention: Improves network stability by preventing IP conflicts caused by misconfigured or malicious hosts.
  • Network Administrators: Supports multiple admin accounts with two levels of administrator privileges.
  • Quality of Service: QoS (Quality of Service) improves performance of critical traffic by prioritizing it using CoS, DSCP, and IP Precedence tags.
  • Switch Management: Central Switch Management enables easy VLAN setup from the router and provides a centralized hierarchy view of all switches.
