Overview

The NETGEAR M4250-26G4F-PoE+ (GSM4230P-100EUS) is a fully managed Layer 2/Layer 3 switch engineered specifically for professional audio/video over IP (AV over IP) applications. It features a total of 30 ports, including 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports with a 300W power budget to power various AV endpoints, 2 additional 1G ports, and 4 SFP fiber ports for high-speed uplinks. Designed for clean integration into AV racks, all power and Ethernet ports are located on the rear, and it supports flexible mounting options including standard, recessed, and VESA mounts. The switch comes pre-configured for immediate, out-of-the-box use with common protocols like Dante, NDI, and AES67, and offers an intuitive, dedicated AV web-based GUI for easy customization with port-based profiles. With features like quiet operation (selectable fan modes) and NETGEAR IGMP Plus™ automation for simplified multicast, this switch provides a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solution for demanding AV environments.
