Overview

The XELAN CAT5E PATCH LEAD 1M BLUE (Part Number: 3001-0009) is an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) network cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet applications up to 1000 Mbps. It features a blue, 1-meter long jacket, often made with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) material for fire safety. The cable is fitted with RJ45 connectors that include flush-moulded anti-snag strain relief boots to protect the latch and ensure durability. Internally, it is constructed with 24 AWG stranded pure copper wires and gold-plated contacts for optimal conductivity, exceeding all Category 5e standards. This lead is ideal for connecting various network devices like PCs, routers, and switches, and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.
