Overview

The Tempo Alert 340 ADSL Safe Test Telephone is a professional-grade telephone line test set designed for technicians working on copper telephony and ADSL-equipped networks.

 Built to withstand harsh environments with waterproof and impact-resistant housing,

 it features ADSL filters and digital services protection so you can safely connect to lines carrying digital traffic or remote-powered circuits without disrupting data service.

The set provides loudspeaker monitor capability, voltage alarm and lock-out,

 selectable dialing modes (tone/pulse), memory redial, polarity test, and high-impedance monitor for non-intrusive line listening.

If hazardous voltages are detected, it avoids looping the line to protect both the tester and network equipment.
