Overview

The StarTech SFP-10G-BXU-I-ST is a Cisco-compatible SFP+ fiber transceiver for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-BX) networks, specifically an upstream module (BXU) for single-mode fiber, using a single fiber strand with different wavelengths (1270nm Tx, 1330nm Rx) for data transmission up to 10 km, pairing with a downstream module like the SFP-10G-BXD-I-ST for full duplex communication. It's hot-swappable, supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), and is designed for reliable network performance in compatible Cisco switches and routers.
