Designed to support comprehensive backup, recovery, and archiving strategies, the LTO Ultrium 8 Data Cartridge from Quantum provides quality, reliability, high performance, and durability. Ready to be used for primary backups or long-term archiving, LTO Ultrium media is optimized for use in stand-alone and automated environments and has an archival life of up to 30 years. Uncompressed, it offers a storage capacity of 12TB, but thanks to a 2.5:1 compression factor, it can deliver a storage capacity of 30TB. This media is rewritable, as compared to WORM (write once, read many), and is protected by a limited lifetime warranty.
