The iStorage diskAshur² (IS-DA2-256-5000-GN) is an ultra-secure, 5TB racing green portable hard drive featuring military-grade AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. Access is strictly controlled via an onboard, wear-resistant keypad that requires a 7-15 digit PIN, ensuring the drive remains platform-independent and requires no software for operation. To defend against physical and digital threats, the device utilizes a Common Criteria EAL5+ certified secure microprocessor and a brute-force hack defense mechanism that deletes all data after 15 failed PIN attempts. The ruggedized design includes an IP56 certification for dust and water resistance, with all internal components protected by a tamper-proof epoxy resin layer. Operating over a fast USB 3.2 interface, it delivers read speeds up to 160MB/s while maintaining full compatibility across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile systems.
