The C‑TEC BF326/RSL Fire Alarm Mains Isolator Keyswitch is a robust and compliant double‑pole keyswitch designed to isolate the mains supply to a fire alarm control panel as required by BS 5839‑1. It features a built‑in LED indicator that shows mains presence (quiescent current ~2 mA), providing clear visual feedback. Fitted with a 5 A fast blow fuse and supplied with a unique plastic key, it enhances engineer safety by eliminating exposed metal conductive parts. The surface‑mount unit includes a back box and accepts up to 2.5 mm² cable wiring for secure installation. Third‑party tested to IEC/EN 60669 and designed with safety and reliability in mind, this isolator is suitable for fire alarms and can also be labelled for evacuation alert or emergency voice systems with an optional label accessory.
