Overview

The Beurer BM 49 provides fully automatic blood pressure and pulse measurement on the upper arm.
Its speaking function provides measured values acoustically as well as displaying them on the large, easy-to-read LCD screen. The voice output volume can be adjusted or completely switched off according to preference. An integrated risk indicator uses a coloured scale to help classify measured blood pressure values, while arrhythmia detection can warn of possible heart rhythm disturbances. Two users can each store up to 60 measurements, with average values available for stored readings and morning/evening measurements from the previous seven days. The monitor includes a 22–36 cm upper-arm cuff, storage pouch and blood pressure record, making it suitable for convenient home monitoring
