The Algo 8197 IP PoE+ Weather-Hardened Horn Speaker is engineered for reliable voice paging and notification in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Its IPX9-rated construction and UV-stabilized materials provide excellent resistance to rain, snow, dust, high-pressure water, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. The speaker delivers up to 119 dB SPL and supports up to 16 W of audio power, providing clear and intelligible announcements in noisy areas. It is SIP-compliant and supports multicast, secure SIP, wideband audio, and integration with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and RingCentral. The 8197 can also power and supervise up to three Algo 1197 satellite horn speakers, helping expand coverage while reducing network ports and cabling requirements.
