Overview

Vigor166 is a G.fast modem/router, delivering fiber-like DSL speed up to 1 Gbps. The built-in DSL modem is backward compatible with VDSL2 profile 35b supervectoring and ADSL2+. With 1 RJ-11 port and 2 GbE LAN ports, Vigor166 is also configurable to be a small yet powerful router, offering SPI firewall and content filtering by URL keywords and web features.

Technical Features
  • G.fast & VDSL2 35b Capable: Up to 330Mbps download and 50Mbps upload with G.fast technology. Compatible with all the latest DSL standards, including Vectoring and 35b SuperVectoring.
  • Two Gigabit LAN Ports: Connect two devices to the Vigor 166 with 2 Gigabit (10/100/1000Mbps) LAN ports. No need to disconnect Ethernet WAN to check connectivity.
  • No Setup Needed: Works as a modem with most ISPs, straight out of the box. Pre-configured to work with most UK ISPs—just set the username and password on your router.
  • Full-Bridge Modem and More: Two operation modes allow the Vigor 166 to operate as a fully bridged DSL to Ethernet modem or as a mini router with NAT DMZ host.
  • Add DSL Connectivity to Any Router: Ideal partner device for DrayTek dual-WAN products or any other vendor's Ethernet WAN firewall. Reports DSL line status on DrayTek Vigor routers.
  • Wall or Shelf Mountable: Can be securely installed on a wall or shelf with screw fixings to hold it in place. Mounting kit included.
