Titan 3/2A PABX MASTER IDC
Overview
The Titan 3/2A PABX Master IDC is a telecommunications line jack unit used in office and business telephone installations connected to a PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) system. It serves as a master connection point for internal telephone wiring within a building. The socket features IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) terminals, allowing fast and secure cable termination without stripping wires. This PABX master socket includes a ring capacitor required for proper telephone ringing but does not include a surge arrestor typically found in PSTN master sockets. It is designed to accept standard BS6312 telephone plugs (4 or 6 pin) and can be installed in flush or surface-mounted back boxes. The unit is widely used in office communication systems where extensions are connected through a PABX network.
