Overview

Aten´s new generation of KVM over IP switches – KN series allows local console access and remote over IP access for operators to monitor and access their entire data center over a network using a web-based browser. In addition, they offer out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting when the network is down. To help you manage and control an entire data center, our KVM over IP switches support blade servers and chassis.

  • Control Up to 8 Computers: Provides BIOS-level access and complete control of up to eight computers or servers from one monitor, USB keyboard, and mouse. Includes dual redundant power supplies for 24/7 reliability and a Laptop USB Console (LUC) port for direct laptop access.
  • Compact Rack Design: Fits in 1U of a standard 19-inch rack. No server software required. Flash-upgradable firmware via Ethernet for easy updates.
  • Wide Compatibility: Supports all major operating systems and VT100-based devices. Works with browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Opera for remote access.
  • Dual User Access: Allows one local and one remote user to control systems simultaneously. Supports pushbutton, GUI, OSD, and hotkey controls with LED indicators per port.
  • High-Resolution Display: Up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz with multi-language OSD support (English, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese).
  • Keyboard/Mouse Support: Compatible with both PS/2 and USB consoles (one combination at a time).
  • IPv4/IPv6 Support: Supports manual or DHCP-based IP configuration for both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
