Overview

The TP-Link MC200CM is a Gigabit media converter that translates between 1000Base-T Ethernet (RJ45 copper) and 1000Base-SX fiber optic signals, using an SC connector for multi-mode fiber. It is designed to extend network reach up to 550 meters over multi-mode fiber, operates at 850nm, and supports full-duplex at Gigabit speeds. Key features include Auto MDI/MDI-X on the RJ45 port, front-panel status LEDs, and compatibility with various networking standards.
