Overview

The TP-Link MC220L is a Gigabit SFP media converter that converts a 1000M RJ45 copper connection to a 1000M SFP fiber-optic connection, and vice versa. It is a standalone device that works with a suitable SFP module (sold separately) and supports both multi-mode and single-mode fiber, extending network distances up to 0.55km for multi-mode and 10km for single-mode. It complies with IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3z standards, features auto MDI/MDI-X for the RJ45 port, and includes LED indicators for status monitoring.
