Overview

Bandwidth-intensive workflows are the norm for content creators and post-production shared storage workgroups. With this adapter, users can securely and cost-effectively connect their Thunderbolt 3 equipped Mac or Windows PC to high-performance wired networks delivering up to 10 times the performance of Gigabit Ethernet.

Technical Features
  • Connect the Thunderbolt Cable: Connect one end of the included Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) cable to the Thunderbolt port on the OWC 10G Ethernet Adapter. The port is located on the side opposite the Ethernet port and is marked with a lightning bolt symbol.
  • Connect to Your Computer: Connect the other end of the Thunderbolt 3 cable to an available Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 port on your Mac or Windows computer. The adapter is bus-powered, meaning it draws power directly from your computer's Thunderbolt port, so no external power adapter is needed.
  • Driver Installation: For macOS, no drivers are typically required. For Windows 10 (64-bit edition) and later, drivers may be automatically installed. If not, please visit the official OWC support website for the latest drivers.
