Overview

DrayTek VigorSwitch P2540xs is a Layer 2+ Managed 10 Gbps switch. With 48x Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports providing 400W power budget and 6x SFP+ 10Gbps Fiber links. Supporting advanced Layer 3 features, DHCP Server and VLAN Routing, VigorSwitch P2540xs improves network efficiency and helps your LAN network to work continuously even when the gateway is offline, which is ideal to be placed as the core switch in SME/SMB.

Technical Features
  • PoE (Power over Ethernet): Deliver power and data over one Ethernet cable, and turn on/off the PoE device periodically with PoE Schedule.
  • Ping Device Check: Enable ping checks to selected devices to monitor their status. If a ping times out, power cycle (if PoE enabled) the port and/or send out a mail alert.
  • Auto Surveillance and Voice VLAN: Recognize traffic from IP cameras and IP phones automatically and add CoS tags for QoS prioritization.
  • ONVIF-Friendly: Recognize ONVIF devices, display surveillance topology, and provide UI for video streaming and device maintenance.
  • Wire-Speed VLAN Routing: Improve overall network performance by using VigorSwitch P2540xs to route inter-VLAN traffic directly and offload the router.
  • IP Conflict Prevention: Improve network stability by avoiding IP conflicts caused by misconfigured or malicious hosts.
  • Access Control: Supports ACL by IP/MAC and 802.1x port access control with RADIUS to filter unauthorized hosts.
  • QoS (Quality of Service): Prioritize critical traffic using CoS, DSCP, and IP Precedence tags to improve performance.
  • 10G SFP+: Provides 10G-capable fiber SFP+ ports for aggregation or uplinking to the core switches.
  • IPv6 Ready: Supports IPv6 with MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, and IPv6 DNS Resolver.
  • Web-Based GUI: Easily manage and monitor the network via a web-based console with graphical views of ports and hardware status.
  • Multiple Admin Accounts: Multiple administrator accounts with two levels of privilege.
