Overview

The Cablenet Data/Data 10/100 Economiser (Pairs Required to Work) provides a cost-effective way to expand network capacity using existing Cat5e cabling. By utilising the spare pairs within a twisted pair cable, it enables two 10/100 Ethernet connections to run simultaneously over a single cable run. Designed for use in structured cabling systems with patch panels and faceplates, these units are sold individually but must always be used in pairs, with one at each end of the cabling. Not suitable for telephones on broadband lines, this device is ideal for offices, schools, and small business networks where extra runs are not feasible.
