Overview

The Maxxam Cat5e U/UTP 4 pair unshielded cable delivers Cat5e standards compliant performance and supports high speed protocols up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet. It is designed for permanent installations and flood wiring of buildings, providing a dependable medium for structured networks that carry data, voice, and video over Cat5e. The U/UTP construction consists of eight colour coded 24AWG polyethylene insulated conductors twisted together into four pairs to help control crosstalk and maintain clear signal transmission. The compact overall diameter of just 5 mm enables a tight 24 mm bend radius after installation and allows more cables to be installed in a given size of containment for higher density without unnecessary clutter. It supports the full set of IP applications designed to run over Cat5e cabling.
